1993 Splash build

Pics and new build thread, or is it going be built using this thread? You will like the 95+ firewall/dash/electrical system, far superior to the 93-94's...

^ That's the main reason I'm doing this. It's going to stay in this thread although the only thing I'll be using is the driveshafts and rear suspension/axle.

:icon_rofl:

This thread just got awesomer. Is that a word?

Read through most of your build thread, keep up the awesome work! More pics tho, gotta get more pics in!

Cant wait to see it all together

Nice build, I personally like the roof racks, but feel they make the ride to top heavy once the tire and anything else needed is added, IMO

I did it lol not too bad

I have a 94 xcab and a complete 95+ dash, dash harness, and complete heater box that I was going to try to install, but the firewall is so different I would have to cut the firewall out of a gen4 just to get it to work. So I'm just gonna plan to sell the 94 when I'm done...
Brad, updates?

Thanks bud! It looks like I may start my new build here in a couple months. Steel for the frame is expensive!

2.5x5 3/16" wall tubing. I think she'll be strong enough. 1/4" Plate steel for leaf spring hangers in the rear, 4wheel underground coil-over towers, custom crossmembers, motor mounts, reinforced steering box plating, etc etc. I need a LOT of steel

Also thinking of inboarding the leaf springs to go under the frame. I will be incorp. a rear sway bar with outboarded shocks. Anyone see a downfall to this?
