Oh, it's definitely streetable. It's just a little more touchy around corners is all.

I picked up a Warn 25314 8k winch today for $300. Came with all wiring, solenoid, snatch block, roller fairlead, and controller.

I just spent 8 hours doing an alternator on a 2000 Ford Contour with a 2.5L DOHC. What a PITA!!.

You have to drop the strut, knuckle, CV shaft (which broke when I pulled it out), passenger side wiring harness, Y-pipe, and transmission oil lines just to remove this ****ing alternator. And to boot, everything was rusty and just a PITA to remove...

I agree they are poorly placed, but it shouldn't take 8 hours. You can get them out without taking all that apart.

This I know all too well. I quoted a guy for 4.5 hours (which is well above the time I THOUGHT it would take). Unfortunately, he drives this thing in the winter & never washes it. Talk about RUST. I had to remove everything just to break the damn bolts loose after soaking it in PB blaster the night before.
