My Rig - 1993 Ranger Super Cab 4x4 with 5 Speed Trans and 30in Tires - Stock Suspension.

Ive been posting on the forum for a while asking a multitude of questions trying to get my Ranger together over the past year and finally getting around to being happy with it.

Here's the list of work since i bought it last year.

-New suspension mounts on rear end.
-Top end rebuild on 4.0 V6.
-Grille Blacked out and Gutterguarded.
-Overhead Center Console out of 2001 Blazer.
-Kobalt Tool Box with Clearance Lights.
-Diesel style Cab running lights.
-3000lb Remote Controlled Winch custom mount behind stock bumper.
-Transmission Swap from A4LD to M50-D.
-3 Custom Mounted Speakers under rear glass.
-Custom exhaust - Gutted cats, single inlet dual outlet Flow-master muffler, 2.5 inch pipe from cats all the way back to edge of body, 2.5 to 4 inch bushing than 4 inch stacks running vertical on cab.
-Rear Window Protector made from Conduit, Rat wire and sheet metal screws.
-20% tint on all windows but rear glass.
-Explorer Rims blacked out.
-Fog Lights mounted in lower grille.
-All running and clearance lights tinted 3 coats.
-E3 Plugs (I personally gained15% increase in MPG).

-Had to Header Wrap the exhaust pipe and gap it between Gas Tank to prevent any possibility of Heating the tank up (BIG BOOOOOOOM).

Plans to come.
-Either 5.0 Supercharged V8 or 4bt Deisel.
-4inch lift with 33's.
-Running boards or Step Rails.
-Custom frontend with tall grille extended down from
stock through the body colored panel between grille and bumper and other little tweaks.
-Stacks to be powder-coated black and mitered on top.
-May convert to Flatbed pickup.
-Custom mounted exterior Marine speakers in toolbox for outside stereo when working outside with truck.(switchable to cut off during DD).
-Rear slider glass and pop out Quarter windows.
-8.8inch Explorer rear end for Disc conversion.
-Other odds and end things I cant think of right now.

Now that you've seen my build let me know what you think and if you got any ideas let me know. Always open for more ideas.:icon_cheers:

Whats the point of doing your exhaust like that? Also that winch isnt gonna do anything besides maybe pull a car or your truck on level ground. Gonna fail the first time you would need it offroad.

x2. that winch wont pull you or any other truck out and i dislike stacks on anything that isnt a diesel.

may i recommend you switch to manual hubs too? those auto hubs are notorious for giving out when you need them.

I ran stacks because I have a thing for Big Rigs, and everyone runs the stacks through the bed. I wanted it to be original (other than Lil Red Express). And the Winch was free and works fine for the light duty use Ive used it for so far. Pulled a full size Dodge out of a ditch in the snow when my buddy wrecked. I usually go off roading with a group of larger trucks so if i get stuck they'll pull me out.

looks good man! not a big fan of stacks but it looks nice.
i really like the roof lights

It might be slow but if you carry around 3 or 4 snatchblocks it'll get you out of anything...
SVT

Im sorry, if you like it awesome, but Id rather have it in stock form

i was diggin it until i got to the stacks, Not a fan at all. It looks like a clean truck that you just clamped a few pipes on the side of. Maybe if you got some nicer stacks and did it through the bed, but still... They belong on big rigs. But hey it your truck, to each their own

Ditch the stacks and get a more secure mount for your winch and fairlead then you got a cool truck.

You truck looks really good in your 5th picture. I'm not the biggest fan of stacks but I'd think they'd look a little better routed up through the bed in my opinion. If you like it, that's the only thing that should matter. Don't let peoples "opinions" strongly subvert you from don't what you wanna do! :icon_thumby:

Black Wheels look good,Like the cab lights,Good idea with the fiberglass speaker box.
