Hello everyone, I noticed my 1993 ranger xlt 4x4 sits higher (looks pretty close to a 2" lift) then other stock rangers of the 93-97 range. It still has its stock suspension, in the rear it has the factory blocks under the springs. In the front I believe the springs are slightly larger then none XLT models of the 93-97 range. My question is since this is factory if I was to order a 4" suspension lift my total lift would only be about 2", correct?

If it is just a 2" total lift compared to my factory hight would I be ok just ordering new springs, shocks, sway bar drop brackets, longer brake lines and pitman arm without radius arm drop brackets and axle pivot drop brackets?

I've seen some variation in the ride height of stock Rangers of those years (mostly between reg cab shortbeds and Supercabs). The actual suspension brackets on all '90-'97s are all the same however, so whatever the truck sits at prior to the lift will have no relevance

What you MAY find however is heavier trucks (Supercabs, etc.) may need some washer shims (or a coil spacer) under the front lift coils to boost up the suspension's ride height some to make alignment easier.
