If that's addressed to me, yes, I'm sure Mustang II's had 9 inch rear brakes. As I said, I gave them to a guy for his fox body race car which was originally 10 inch brakes. My son's 84 Turbo Coupe also has 9 inch rear brakes and I'm positive early fox Mustangs and Aerostars had them, too. It was common to use Aerostar drums and 5 lug axles to get more wheel choices.Are you sure there 9" I did a search at car-part.com and it came back with left and right 10" backing plates
