ROCKIN!!!!

Looking forward to the pics and report buddy!! :D

me too im gettin excited lol.

just went and pulled the drain plug on my diffs and they're full of oil still and its clean so i didnt bother doing the king pins. i just did them in the fall but kinda rushed it so i wanted to do it again but it should be good. we'll see.

spent the last few days getting my buddys mazda ready for some real trails he's just been screwing around in fields so he didnt have any diff/ trans/transfercase vents relocated. sealed up his distributor and built some sliders. now were just working on the exhaust.. its really loud and you cant hear anything going on with thte truck.

heres pic of that. without the sliders they're nothing special just 2x5" rectangle tube kinked at each end

Nice!

Looks like he set-up and ready for some larger meats too! :D

Is that his parking brake cable hanging down?

What solid axle is under there? Let me guess.......Jeep d30?

Yup both parking brake cables are zip tied up. We got everything vented and finished the sliders, pulled the cap off, and welded on some tow hooks. Looks about 100 times better and nop that truck is actually an 82 Toyota Mojave In disguise only thing that is Mazda is the frame and body. Everything else is the toyota

Sweet!!!

Even better, toy parts wont puke on him, lol, I tried counting lugnuts thru all that rust but failed, lol.

I dunno if it would do anything lol I'm not sure he has them all on. Haha went out today in that thing and toasetd the rear u joint. It's good enough to go out on Sunday he needs a new rear driveshaft that ones bent so it'll just destroy a new u joint anyways.

We did the math on it today and including the cost of the truck in the first place he's I to it $2'800

Another tiny unrelated update I got my new headlights in for the sj gonna look sick once I get it painted

and when I was at my buddys shop I noticed that there is a huge dent in the side that wasnt there yesterday....:annoyed: stupid frigging kids that have to ruin other peoples things... And I was hoping to start on the body work on this thing next week too.... This is the only dent in the whole truck now

Awww shitty man, that sux indeed.

SICK lights, what s aset of them worth, my Rover could use a light re-new. Mind you I will need 4 of em, lol. 6" or 7"??

i got them for 35 bucks they're on sale right now. regular is 80 bucks.

they're actually pretty nice. glass lenses and everything still they're real projectors and have small blue lights in the bottoms i guess if you want them to glow blue when your parked. i didnt even know that came with them. all in all it was $69 to my door

EDIT: i forgot to say they're 7" round. and you can get clear as well but i figured in a black truck these would be nicer

Yup there sexy lights man!!

Sweet, they come in 6 and 7" round too, my baja bug would look sexy with them too, hmmm, now to pass it buy the wife, lol.

they do have rectangle ones as well. trying to convince my buddy to put them into his 84 datsun 720

Had I not bought the H4 conversion and installed already I would have pushed for these on the Bronco as well. Tho I would like to change the bulbs, I went with the 55/100's and when you switch back to low beam it's too much of a difference, almost like I shut the lights off, lol, I want the 75/100's. Mental note to self, when wheeling in wet terrain in the dark, don't have the high beams on, they're nice and bright, don't get me wrong, but I cracked 1 lens from the heat and water. :(.......Maybe I should do these in the Bronco as well. Time to install my offroad lights, then I don't need the high beams offroad.

You get them puppies installed yet? I can't decide on chrome or black reflectors....

So today was the big day had my one buddy who just got back from school over and that mazda up there and another ranger all meet at my house. Went To put the truck on the trailer aaaaaaand the fuel pump isn't turning on....:annoyed: I'm absoulutly pissed. Like words cannot explain how pissed I am. We went out I watched them have fun while I sat on the hill and took videos. My buddy was mostly impressed with his Mazda he needs a snorkel and we're welding the rear end up sometime this week. We had it to the top of the bumper in water for a bit.

So now I get to go through my truck a bit better then I did today. so far it's looking like the pump though....

Aww, man that sux!! And all this after you just put that new pump in hey? Start at the last place you played with and work your way back. I hate when that happens, especially when your heading out wheeling and no go, sux ass right there for sure.

At least you got out to watch some wheeling, more than I can say, lol. I got to hang out with a house full of screaming kids at my daughters 4th bday party today, lol, was actually fun tho, haha.

So you gonna youtube the vids you took today? :D
