Hey everybody, I've got a quick question - my inertia switch crapped out on my 1988 ranger the other day and I've been trying to find a replacement.
It's proving a more difficult than I anticipated, and it doesn't look like there are any OE parts available at all.
does anyone have recommendations for a replacement switch?

You can use a newer style switch, like from a 90’s model. Just have to get the pigtail and wire it

I have one from a later 90's. It looks completely different but the same 2 screws hold it on.

When mine went out from a leak, I shook the bezeebers out of it for a while. It sounded like there was a small metal ball in it. I periodically checked it with an ohm meter while holding it upright, and it came back to life. It’s been fine for 8-10 years now.
