1986 2.3 ranger electrical problems

I got this truck off of a friend it seems to be more headache then its worth. I have no power at all. nothing lights up no power in the fuse box. So far ive tested the power at the solenoid everything looks good there the 3 smaller wires with fusable links all had power and thats where iver gotten to so far. if I jump the solenoid it starts right up.

Make sure your engine grounds are good and make sure the box gets 12v.
