i do not like the corvette fuel filter/regulater setups. too much variation with the aftermarket units.

just use the fass regulators when i can.

i forgot how nice your rig is.

This is a speedway branded one. Not sure what to expect - my buggy had a fass style setup, but it had all that high dollar racecar ultra 4 stuff that was a pain to service too. Hope this one works, and price wise I can keep a spare and swap it out in 5 mins on the trail

Snug. But not TOO snug. Looks great.

I was hoping to mount my steering reservoir in the drivers fender area on the radiator, but that might be a little dicey now with trying to fit an intake. Should have just enough room to put it on the strut tower, but that's a problem for future me

Took me a bit to get the hang of the stainless lines vs the nylon braided. Kept fraying them out, eventually used electrical tape pulled really tight with more wraps than I thought I should have, but it worked really well holding it together while I cut it with a grinder

My goal has been to get a little bit done every day, even if it's just 30 minutes or an hour of work. Yesterday I decided to ruin my perfectly good tailshaft mount for the VSS

Started pretty and painted

Placing the bung, that silver mount goes inside, but I'm trying to get it as far back as I could so I could get it to see the reluctor ring on the tailshaft

The Advanced Adapters kit comes with these goodies

Drilled my hole, and realized I was going to have a problem - the tailshaft mount is double walled, so with the bung placed like this it wont be close enough to the reluctor ring to "see" it. Started to cut it open a little more yesterday, hope to finish it up with the dremel today and figure out a way to reseal it so that I don't get crap into the void and end up filling up the tailshaft mount with crap. Probably going to end up doing something crappy with jb weld, but not totally sure.

Yesterday I ruined a perfectly good part, and everything looks like it'll work

Have to seal it up with some RTV and get a feeler gauge in there to make sure that the gap to the reluctor ring is within spec

In the adventures of stuff you screw up when you do something dumb, the belt that I had on there the first time was far too short, re-measured, ordered a new one and put it on. See the obvious problem?

Put the previous one on in the correct way, and suddenly wouldnt you know my previous measurement was right

It might be a little bit too wide, think I'll go to a dayco one in this length and call it a day, but I'm not totally sure
