1/2 Ton Buggy Build

I have never seen anything not in the hood priced that low. Haven't been in it but I walked around the outside and it looks good. The apartment has a block foundation with a crawlspace. The barn is 1800 sqft and I think the realtor said it has a 500sqft apartment inside it that could be converted to an office.

Here are some inside pics of the apartment connected to the back on the alley side.

That's cheap!

damn! for that price I would buy it for sure! Get some pictures inside the shop when you can. I have always wanted a shop with an apartment lol.

That would be one hell of a man cave!!!!!

I could never afford it but ide rent it from you, hahaha

I'll know more tomorrow but I'm definitely interested in it. For that price tho it might need a lot of work.

Helped a buddy of mine put up a 2 post lift in his garage today. He's restoring a early bronco.

The deal with the barn is they had a fire in it about five years ago. All the 4x6 post had 2x4's nailed to both sides because they only had about 3x5 left from about 2 foot off the floor to about 8 foot. So I'll keep looking or just build one myself in the back yard.

Wow so that's why it was do cheap. Sounds pretty ghetto fabbed inside

The apartment was real nice and the barn looked ok on the outside. But inside the barn not so good.

This is the good side, looked like the other side burned more.

wow yeah I would definitely pass on that. Looks like it needs a major refurbishment

It looks bad, but it looks like they replaced the horizontal studs and the sheeting. I would still buy it though, but thats me...

Yeah looks like they replaced the sides and put a second layer on the front but the roof and especially the ridge cap are buckled from the heat. Don't think I would get up there to replace any of it because all the rafters are charred.

I have a good spot in the backyard for a 30x40 so I'll probably do that this coming fall.

Got started on the driveshafts but really haven't gotten anything done for the last week. Need to start getting out there every night again.

Alright time to get back to work. Finished the front drive shaft tonight. Cut the ends off some drive shafts I got out of the junk yard then welded them to 1 1/2 and 2" tube. Also had to grind a groove in the 1 1/2 for the weld inside the 2".

Looks good. Are you planning to install a zerk fitting on the outer tube?

SVT

No, just gonna smear it on there. I have had one of these before and had really good luck with it. Plus I always knew right away when the shaft was on a rock from the noise.
