1/2 Ton Buggy Build

Not gonna run a doubler on this one?

SVT

Then I'd run the deepest gear you can with those 39s, run the 538s. With 538s your crawl ratio is only 69.59.....

No 5.38's for the 8.8 have to go 5.13. That's what I'll probably do but 3.50's are in there so I wanted to see how they will work.

seeing as this is a buggy and you know its gonna be getting a bigger tire later on i dunno how much $ id put into these axles id say 4.56 that way later on these axles can be put into a ranger

and why cant axle's loaded with 5.13's be used in a ranger? im managing in an explorer o.k. hahaha

lol i figured if he already has a buggy then he would use them on somthing running.more of a 33

I know what your sayin but I don't wheel with anybody that has tires bigger than 40's. I won't go bigger on this buggy. But would consider building another one with a 60/14 combo and 42 iroks or a 4cyl. one seater 30/8.8 combo on 36 iroks.

Monday I have a appointment to look at a 30x60 building zoned commercial. Kind of on the fence about it because it's 30 minutes from my house and 5 minutes from where I work. So If I wanted to work on something there I would have to do it without going home first.

Here's a picture. It also has a 24x24 apartment on the backside with seperate electric.

I'd get the building, and rent out the apartment to help pay for the building. Least or purchase?

Purchase. Somebody is living in the apartment now but I'm not sure if it is a renter or the owner. The place is dirt cheap so the apartment rent would pay the payment taxes and insurance. But when the wife finds out I might be staying in it :icon_rofl:

Bring it to her this way, she will have her garage back so she can park in it :D

The only downside I see to that shop is the door is kinda small. But if the rent would pay for the payment then why not? I see what you mean about it being so far away though. My girl friend would kill me if I was away that much haha.

And I am running a grizzly locker in my 44 and had no problems so far. They are supposed to be superior to the Detroit in that they wont destroy themselves if a shaft lets go. And they have a badass warranty

Must be pretty cheap, what they asking for it?

Yeah but if it was closer it would be 3 times as much. I've been looking at commercial property around here for years and almost bought 2 of them but they were 100K.

I have a spartan in this 44 but had a grizzly in my last 44 and it worked perfect every time. Always unlocked and locked and NEVER made a popping noise.

Asking $18,000 and taxes are about $700. Not sure about insurance maybe another $700 a year. Commercial so have to put down at least 20%.

Damn, the building cost more than that! Wish I had it, if you didn't buy it, I definitely would...
