I recently replaced the transmission on my ford ranger after it had sat for roughly two months. After I got everything hooked up the truck started really choppy. If I give it constant throttle, it will stay running. I have checked over every sensor and cannot seem to figure it out and am at a loss.

Just realized I posted this in the wrong thread. My apologies.

Bad gas, water in gas due to ethanol content?

What was disconnected as part of the transmission swap? Seems unlikely you would have bumped anything that caused a vacuum leak.

Check engine light?

Scan that summbich and tells us what the codes say. A 2007 OBD2 system is way too sophisticated to allow the truck to run that poorly and not give a code.
