04' Ranger Mini Truckin' Mission

I need to replace the sun visors on this thing, ASAP, completely falling apart...

Can you guys recommend a place for accessories like this?

I checked Amazon, but I didnt see what I needed.

Both LMC and Rock Auto have replacements, if you want to spend the money.

LMC will be your go to for most restoration parts

Otherwise eBay for used ones

In what way are they damaged?
If it's just the fabric, you can them reupholstered.

Find a guy that does auto upholstery from his garage.
Would probably cost around $100 for the pair. Bonus you get to choose the fabric and color.

Yeah, the fabric is falling off from sun damage.

I actually found a pair for $40 on Ebay, seems like a pretty good deal

They are used but appear to be in great condition

I am looking for an upholstery guy here in town though, because the roof fabric is starting to sag and rub against my hair lol

Replacing the headliner isn't difficult. Take the whole thing down, remove the liner material, brush off the left over foam backing, spray headliner glue on, and apply the new material. Cut the liner big enough to wrap over the edges and onto the back 2-3 inches. Your local craft store / hobby lobby should have everything you need.

Im going to learn how to do all this one way or another. Im determined. I appreciate the responses to all my newbie questions lol

First project is the exhaust and cool air intake...

Back in the day, I had a KN intake and Flowmaster....

I want that deep sound...

I know it's only a V6 but can you guys recommend
Myself, my 98 3.0 V-6 has an intake that cannot be purchased anymore. MAC iirc. Full three inch tube from the MAF to the TB. And for the exhaust, I just had a local shop cut off everything from the cat back. Weld a bent Y onto the cat. Then put two long hollow stainless pipes on it. Loud, but the intake is louder than the exhaust. Put a Specter stainless steel mesh filter on it, and it roars. And I have a larger TB on it, with a JET chip on the computer. Runs Great!

Rims are Cragar Magmasters, made in 1974. 14 X 7 front, 14 X 8.5 rear. BF Goodrich TA radials, 245/60-14 rear, 205/70-14 front.

Lakewood traction bars specifically for the Ranger. Hellwig Anti sway bars front and rear.

Owned this truck 28 years, just turned 211,000 miles.

Lastly, rebuilt the axle in 2021 due to leaky seals. Installed 4.10 gears while in there. Well worth it. Really wakes up the 3.0, and mine is an automatic. Between the 4.10 gears and the low profile 14 inch tires, it scoots right along. Just the gears take away some top end. Don't know about you, but I don't care about top end. I like the acceleration.

if you can find a pair for a reasonable price, that's definately the way to go...

even if you end up doing it yourself, a reliable upholstery guy is a good person to know.

-EDIT-
I added links to my earlier post about LMC and Rock Auto.

The correct sun visor for that era mini truck is a Wink mirror and a upper windshield tinted logo graphic, often the manufacturer name or model.
