Myself, my 98 3.0 V-6 has an intake that cannot be purchased anymore. MAC iirc. Full three inch tube from the MAF to the TB. And for the exhaust, I just had a local shop cut off everything from the cat back. Weld a bent Y onto the cat. Then put two long hollow stainless pipes on it. Loud, but the intake is louder than the exhaust. Put a Specter stainless steel mesh filter on it, and it roars. And I have a larger TB on it, with a JET chip on the computer. Runs Great!
Rims are Cragar Magmasters, made in 1974. 14 X 7 front, 14 X 8.5 rear. BF Goodrich TA radials, 245/60-14 rear, 205/70-14 front.
Lakewood traction bars specifically for the Ranger. Hellwig Anti sway bars front and rear.
Owned this truck 28 years, just turned 211,000 miles.
Lastly, rebuilt the axle in 2021 due to leaky seals. Installed 4.10 gears while in there. Well worth it. Really wakes up the 3.0, and mine is an automatic. Between the 4.10 gears and the low profile 14 inch tires, it scoots right along. Just the gears take away some top end. Don't know about you, but I don't care about top end. I like the acceleration.
