What do you think of the shocks? How are they compared to other shocks? My truck is stock ride height. I bought some Gabriel Ultra shocks about 9 months ago and they ride like ass. I still have the stock shocks on the front.

I ran the Bilstein Heavy Dutys (blue and yellow shocks) on my truck for a few months before lifting it. And WOW...i LOOOOOOOVED the ride. I just had 'em in the front and they were used but they rode very well. It's been over a year now, but I remember them cushioning alot better, yet the valving was perfect for a tight firm feel on the road. I loved them. Get 'em.

except if you've got a 98+ with a superlift. damnit. lol. If they had one, I'd be running it right now. I agree completely with your statement though about the awesomest shocks.

Sweet. I already ordered them off eBay. I just wanted to see what everyone had to say about them. I cross referenced the part numbers they had listed in the eBay listing to what they had on the autozone website and they were the yellow and blue ones. So i'm guessing those are the Heavy Dutys? They are a brand new set and I got them for $265. I priced them including tax from AZ and they would have been $363.75.

Yeah, I have the Gabriel shocks on mine too (previous owners idea, not mine). I don't know about yours, but the backend of mine feels like a hard tail.

Let me know how they are for you, once these ones start to give out I was thinking about going to Bilsteins.

That's EXACTLY how my ass end feels. The community college I go to has 5 speed bumps from the entrance to the back parking lot and I have to drive slow over them and it still hurts. I'm not sure when they'll be here but i'll definately let you know how they ride.

Here's a link to where I bought mine. I couldn't find them cheaper anywhere.
