Fuel pressure was good when my problems started after the head replacement. KOEO 44lbs and Running was 50lbs. I didn't have time to check after the cats and injectors were installed. It just got too late. I'll recheck Friday when I get back to it.Maybe try disconnecting your pcv and plug both ends with a towel. Normally if it were burning oil you would see blue smoke. Grey smoke indicates a rich fuel mixture, which lines up with your codes.
Have you checked your fuel pressure? It’s possible your regulator isn’t working at all.
What kind of injectors did you get?
I wondered that as well, it's the codes and stuttering that have me looking deeper.Any chance the new cats just need to burn off some crap inside?
I did do one after the install of the new heads. Had 160psi +/- i think 4psi on all 6 cylinders. I'm gonna do a smoke test as well on the intake, exhaust, and evap systems this weekend to verify no leaks anywhere. And although I'm not getting codes for bad 0² sensors, at this point replace them as well.Have you done a compression test with the new heads? Maybe some exhaust valves are hanging open slightly, allowing raw fuel to get into the exhaust. Maybe a cylinder or 2 would show less relative compression to the others. Not really worried about the actual number, just the difference between them.
My plan is to test the injectors Friday. By trying the "clear flooded engine" mode trick. Ignition on, pedal to the floor, then crank it. Then I'll pull the plugs and see if any are wet. But I'll take pictures and label them when I do it.You said that it’ll smoke out the neighborhood when warm? That doesn’t sound like it’s running just a little rich. It’s gotta be pulling some serious fuel to run that rich. I know it’s probably a pain, but could you pull the spark plugs and see if they are fouled, or at least take a couple of photos and see if it’s a specific cylinder. I believe they will tell us the issue here.
Here's 2 logs I did yesterday. One cruising and one at idle after. Super easy to tell if O2s are working properlyOne more thing that someone mentioned in another thread is viewing live engine data. The forscan and USB adapter has been recommended for detailed diagnostics.
