I've heard nothing but good things about the Nitro gears. I've used one of their install kits before when I did my 8.8, had everything needed and no issues with it.

I was reading up on Nitro gears as well. Apparently a lot of street guys have used them behind bigger HP rigs and they held up great. I don't know if maybe they're a bit noisier or what, but from what I've read, they last.

Ive never run Nitro gears. I have installed numerous sets of Yukon gears however, and know from my own rig that they are an excellent product.

yukon is good stuff... both of my D60's have yukon gears and shafts.

heard good stuff about Nitro as well. Yukon is becoming a "big name" instead of a budget company anymore, probably part of the price difference.

Lots of folks running Yukons up here. Its lookin mighty like they will go in my 35/88 with ARB'S. There are a few really good gear sets out there so look at what the survival rates are for them for according to what your doing.

Well it looks like Nitro gears are for me! Just to double check I need to get the "reverse" gears for the Dana 35 correct?

Yep. Reverse cut gears for the Dana 35 TTB. Don't forget to get master install kits.

Both are great. I use Yukon in my 99 Ranger and I have never had any issues.

I'm not gonna argue with anyone, but I'd run Nitro over Yukon just my personal preference.....

I've toasted 2 yukon D44 gear sets, 2 yukon D35 gearsets, and 1 yukon D30 gearset. Installed by different people (all correctly with good patterns, backlash etc). I know several people that are happy with Yukon products, I just seem to have bad luck with them!

I'm running Yukon gears myself. I'm installing my second set in the 9" now. My carrier came apart and the other set had a funky wear pattern because of it. I decided to get a new set instead of run the others. I'll give 'em credit tho, they didn't break, just wore real bad on the toe side.

Got all my axle stuff from www.CompleteOffRoad.com
Prices can't be beat and free shipping on everything. ($10.95 handling charge added to order)
