I was having a couple of items repaired under warranty and was looking over their 2010 Rangers and noticed some pretty big gaps between the hood and the top of the grille. 1/2" or more....the one on my 09 is 1/2" but some of the newer ones have even more. They were all like that!
Did Ford out source the hood manufacture to some 3rd world country?
The way the front clip is, there is no way to adjust it without putting a hellova gap between the grille/headlights and the bumper.
I have noticing this on the 08, 09, and 10s.

It was done to increase air flow under the hood for advanced cooling and lower MPG's!:icon_rofl:

The engine does run cool! I'm not complaining because even with the gaps they look sharp.

the gap doesn't make me too thrilled, worried about rain water frying my ballasts while driving.
