Scrapped 600lbs of electric motors today. $160

Stopped for gas too, but 93 was $3.89 a gallon so I only put in like $20.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

You should have filled up before the price increases again.

I reeeeeeeeallly wanted that truck lol.
The truck would be great, but there is no better feeling and reward than doing the right thing, even if no one knows. And His reward will not be in proportion to what it cost and meant to you, something you can do in passing, but rather the value to those perhaps less capable and in greater need. The same “little” thing you do or pass on may be a “big deal” of great value, providing peace of mind, security, and a needed resource for those perhaps of lesser means. Again, proud of you.

& for those of you reading this and scratching your heads, thinking it’s corny, hey, 😁😁, shame on you! In this world where most of the “entertainment” tears down whatever place or beliefs, the schools teach division, and the government distracts us with inflammatory cries of racism or whatever, a ruse to distract us while they line their pockets, we need to support what and who is good, and encourage good works just because they’re good, with no expectation of reward. It’s what makes us great, not what we have or how high we stand.

& trust me, I’m no saint. I have to keep my hair long to cover the sprouting horns. But I hold this close, and it does affect my actions. I don’t mind arrows because I was thanking and encouraging good works from good men!

(Sorry, see what happens when I don’t work on my junk!)

Floyd actually did some work today. Went to Lowes and picked up a load of pinestraw bales. Of course then I had to come home and do the work of spreading them in the natural areas. Been in the 70ies here in Central NC all week.......people are really feeling Spring. Everyone starting to do yard work.

Drained the coolant (it's due for a flush and fill) and removed the A/C system without breaking it open.

Anybody want a complete A/C system for a gen 3? Everything has less than 5 hrs of operation except the evaporator coil. These are the parts from way back in my build thread. I got it all converted to 134a and it worked, but leaked down over a week or two. There is actually a little bit of pressure still in it. Spent $600 in parts so my wife could ride with me. She never would anyway. Money wasted. $100? Make an offer. Not sure what shipping would be. It's kind of awkward to package. I could meet someone around western SC, western NC, eastern TN, northern GA. It would be a shame to scrap these parts. Pictures later.
