Pecking away at detailing it for the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA in two weeks.
Rub out with tar remover. Then clay bar. Then a coat of wax. Then a coat of show car glaze just before I leave. Wax the nooks and crannies of the wheels. Additionally Armor All, tire shine, Back To Black, etc.
We've had so much rain the past 6 weeks that there hasn't been much point in cleaning it.

In a parking garage in Downtown Pittsburgh yesterday. Clearance was so tight I had to unscrew the Stubby radio antenna since it was hitting the support beams. Good thing I didn't put more than a 1.5" level on it.

I'm always nervous when pulling in parking garages. I watch the clearance tube they have hanging at the entrance. Still get nervous when trying to find a spot

You did it all wrong... when your center bearing takes a poop you're supposed to trade it in for a bronco 🤦‍♀️

Trying to convince the wife she needs to trade the edge for a Bronco haha. Plus I'm too close to owning it haha

I'm sort of in the same boat. The 2019 gets paid off next month, they want too much for the Bronco, and I don't like all the integrated electronics. If anything, I would buy a project vehicle and fix that up before I'd buy a new vehicle.

New spark plugs. NGK Ruthenium HX. Supposed to be pre-gapped at .032 but uh, no, they were more like .024. Old plugs didn’t look bad for 74k.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Since everyone else posted it… look what I picked up today.

This weekend, I finally saw one of those things removed from the box and installed. So, do Jim and Sno have theirs installed yet? Ya gotta keep up with the Mangrums. :stirthepot:

Id imagine it's hard to keep up with a guy who's hair couldn't even manage to... 😋😇

I suspect I have a year or two left of mine before I gotta start shaving it clean 😣 I gotta rock myself a mullet ASAP while I still can.

On a serious note though.. with how low these alternators are and their proclivity for failure after getting dunked.. having a spare to bring along wouldn't be a bad idea if the snorkel is gonna see honest use.

I BELIEVE the bronco alternators are somewhat sealed compared to the ranger ones.. perhaps they're cross compatible?

Haha bald shots haha. On the alternator thing. Both the nissan and tacos are in about the same spot. Plus I've had mine pretty deep in mud and water. I may just be lucky but it has been through the paces since day 1 just about haha

My annual training pay deposited today and the 2019 needs new shoes. With any luck, they will have the tires in stock (not holding my breath). So, I'll be taking the steel rims with me to get mud tires.

Of the tires offered, the Copper Discoverer STT Pro was the cheapest option. Oh! Twist my arm! They should be delivered on Friday. Then I can start saving up for the All Terrain tires to put on the original set of rims for winter.
