Music has always been a HUGE part of my life! Vinyl of Elvis and the hiway men that the parents listened to. Then the k-tel compilations for me, with Blondie, cool and the gang and such when in grade school in the 70's.
Teen years progressed from pat benatar, styx, and early 80's rock, to classic rock of bob seger, aerosmith, ted nugent, pink floyd, rush, etc.
Then scorpions, judas priest (rocka rolla and sad wings of destiny. BEST. ALBUMS. EVER!!!), black sabbath, iron maiden. Saw metallica in 1987 I think, cliff burton on base. Horrible show, sound sucked. Had to stop 1/2 way through first song to extend stage. Maybe 100 people there.
Then country and classic and jazz and blues and folk.
Now it's all of the above, but mostly trip hop the last 5-10 years. Massive attack, thievery corporation, the dining rooms, morcheeba. And some genre bending artists like ani difranco and okkerville river.
