I saw it on Al TV in the 80’s.
Weird Al had a couple of shows on MTV back in the day called Al TV. He played all kinds of strange stuff like that, including that video.
It makes sense that you saw it on Dr. Demento, because he’s the one who first aired Weird Al. They have a lot of history together.

Yesterday’s shenanigans. Ribs on the grill to the left, ribs under the lid on the flat top, and a round steak over garlic and onions on the flat top. The ribs that came off the grill on the left were so good bbq sauce would have ruined them
