That being said when driving my 2.9 ive never once thought "gee i wish i had a 2.3".

Kinda nice keeping 55-60 up a hill in O/D

Nice! I'll be there some day, but will be opting for turbo. My room isn't very soon though. Got to finish that 5.0 build first. Then I'll need to tackle the F-100 and it's FE. After that I'll be able to really focus on the 85.

I thought you might have been saying that I was telling "big fish" stories. You know the ones where the fish grows with each telling and no one believes it. Couldn't figure out what you thought my big fish was.

I got no problem saying that I didn't catch anything, I'm so bad at fishing that I don't bother getting a hook wet. I mean that both literally and figuratively.


(It's all said in fun. No hurt feelings here.)


As for the TK5 bellhousing, I've only got one for a Cologne V6. I e got no intent to use it, but it isn't exactly accessable. My 2.3L is an automatic. If I see someone trying to get rid of one I'll let you know.

Might want to check Facebook too, there are a few buy & sell groups dedicated to the 2.3L.

I have a line on another 2.3 TK bell housing but it might be same as the one I just got.
