This 6" suspension lift.....or not

Guys, I found this used lift kit on craigslist

Says its from an 87 4x4 ranger, will it work on an 89BII 4x4?
Never installed a suspension lift before so some of you with experience give me an idea of whether this one looks like too much trouble to figure out...it obviously doesnt come with instructions

Does it look like its worth it or should I pass it up and get something else? Thanks for the assistance.

not too hard to figure out....look up Tough Country ( what it looks like to me ) for the instructions...

i'm not much on the plate style passenger beam drop....

also, you still will need a bunch more parts to do the lift....brake lines, drop pitman arm, shocks, and something for the rear ( blocks, Expo leaves, Belltech shackles, etc.... )

guess it is an ok price....may want to talk him down some....

Thanks, thats the same line of thinking that I had, I just wanted to get some opinions. It's probably going to be a pain and not very cost effective to piece everything together.

Thats just around the corner, how far is Madisonville from here? I would love to get some wheelin in. I have been wanting to check out that new ORV park somewhere near Lexington...Dirty Turtle Offroad park I think its called.
Right now the BII is bone stock and I have been doing a lot of interior work lately. I got it for 500, it has 80,000 orig miles and runs like a champ, body is in great shape.
I want to try it out, see what breaks and start from there. I was tempted when I saw this lift last night, but I think I'll wait for something more complete or maybe new down the road.

Durty Turdle is closer to Florence KY than Lexington...

i'm about 2 hours from Louisville....straight down the Western KY Parkway from E-town...

and not far From Turkey Bay OHV park...

+1 on it being an older Superlift kit.

Just be sure to position your bumpstops appropriately so your differential doesn't smash into that drop-plate bracket, busting a hole in it.

Also, I don't see a drop pitman arm in any of the pics... Plan on buying a Skyjacker pt# FA600 arm for it (don't buy the FA400 arm though, it is too short for that lift).

Thanks for the knowledge guys, I sent him an email offering $100. I'll see what he says. If I can get it for that I think It will be worth the trouble of piecing it together. I appreciate the info on the pitman arm and the bumpstops.
