Some how I find that report Bias. Just the Toyota's & Honda's made the grade while Nissian, BMW, & Mercedes didn't. Being a mechanic and actually seeing the odometer readings. Almost all cars will make 200k mile mark. Especially the Mercedes. And domastic vehicles too. It really comes down to the owner.

Maybe I should start recording every vehicle odometer, year, make, & model for a good record of this.

my 2000 sunfires up to 335k
Ranger made it to 315k before needing to be restored.

I say that 3 things will make a car last forever.

1. Regular maintenance(oil changes, fulid changes, trans flush, things the car needs)

2. Keeping it clean. expecially if you drive where they use salt

3. Oil spray or undercoating Ive seen a honda oil spraied every year from brand new since 91 where salt is used in winter last 400k and still going strong.
