Check the blower resistor
there is a chance it is the resistor, however when the resister goes it usually defaults to high. my guess is that it is the relay or the blower itself. you can hook the blower directly to the battery if it does not work the blower is bad.

It the relay just above your left foot that has gone bad.

Exactly what kind of truck are we talking about?

I don't know much about Dakota's but I imagine there are some differences between them and a Ranger.

If it is a Ranger a 2011 is different than a 1983, it would be nice to know what year we are talking about.

Where exactly is the relay for my 1994 (manufactured Nov 93) Ranger? Is it in the fuse panel above the driver's foot or somewhere else?

What is the actual problem you are having. I guess you don't have an owners manual

Koeo test for power at the blower motor. If you back probe the connector and change the speeds on the switch the voltage shold change. You cold just disconnevt the wires at the BM and check for power

The blower motor began to work intermittantly. Now almost never. Of course checked fuses, took out the motor checked operation, took out resistor checked for corrosion and for continuity. all good. at times, there is no power to the blower. When it works rarely, it works at different speeds.

hoping for the relay to be sticking but cannot find it on a 94 model
