Heres my barn fresh 66 Bronco u-15 i picked up today. 170 strait six, d-30, nine inch, 4.10 gears, three on the tree, 3.5 inch James Duff lift, 31/10.50 tires. Brought it home and threw a starter in it and a new battery and it fired up right away! Pretty happy with it no major rust except the driver-side floor. Plans are to get it road worthy and drive it replace the cut fenders for some un cut ones, restore it to stock but keep the lift on it and maybe run some 32-33 inch tires. Let me know what you guys think!

Good find. I always have had a soft spot for those things.

That.... is.... awesome! I love these old Broncos. My Dad had a 66 when I was 10 years old, and I'm still mad he sold it 25 years later. It had a 351 Cleveland the PO put in it. I really don't remember any other specs because the motor was all I was worried about at that age, LOL.

My Dad's had a different top on it that I've only seen on one other Bronco. I remember the PO telling us that top was only used in 66, and not for the whole year. If I am remembering correctly, he called it a "High Front".

Nice Bronco. Sure looks like a Dana 44 under the front, not a Dana 30. That makes the deal a little bit sweeter I guess.

It looks like it was beat on then put away wet. I bet it smells like a skunk in that cracked interior....lol. Still a good find. I never had one with a 6 banger. I always had a V8. That 6 should be ok.

Yes it does, one that was beat on and put away wet...lol. But... a good old ride. I had a few of them and they were great. I paid $4,000 for the last one I bought. It was a '76. It was really nice looking and needed nothing when I bought it. I kept it for 9 years and sold it back in 2005 for $9.000. I never spent any money on it except for the usual service it needed. I took it to Moab three years in a row. Drove it out there and back from Florida. The old Broncos are now going for a lot of money in real nice shape. They are good investments as well. I don't know what all he wants to do to it. He may keep it as a rat rod Bronco and just fix it up to run good and wheel it. It does need a lot of work if he wants to make it look nice (body work, interior, etc).
