The tie down loops in the 2019 are very similar to what my 1998 had. The ones in the 2011 are different. In some ways better depending on how and what you are using to tie things down. Previous years, I have no experience with.

Thats right, YOU CANT BUY A 2WHEEL Dr. RANGER IN CANADA ! believe me I tried every way I could, it is a US Ford decision to only sell/force
4 wheel dr. on Canadians. We have to pay $4,000. more for a 4 wheel drive we don't want! Ford's reason is they make far more money and their
excuse is "Canadians desire 4 wheel drive", This is totally BS. Most of the Ford dealers I have talked to have said "they could sell far more 2 wheel dr.
models than the 4 wheel version being forced on them". Consumer studies say "4 wheel dr. is only required only 1% of the time". Derek.

Wow.. could the rear hitch be any uglier on that HiRider?

Sorry, back on topic.... In regard to a "soft top"... a company named "Softopper" makes them for US Rangers.... Here's a Link

Reminds me of a conestoga wagon.. 300 oxen powered version 🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮

I’m not a fan but for someone who doesn’t want a cap on all the time, it would be a cheaper option that is easier to remove and install. Fiberglass caps can be pretty darn heavy for one person.

Agreed. A cable hoist though makes removal of a hard top pretty easy though. I built one for our Jeep... works pretty slick.

The part I like about them is that if you are out somewhere, and need to loose the top, you can drop it down in 5min alone. With a fiberglass top you need to drive home, get a friend to help you pull it, then go back to do whatever it was you needed to do.

Same works in reverse. Most of the time I had mine down, but if i was out and I needed to protect something I had in the back, pop the topper up, again 5min alone.

Plus the sides roll up, so that's useful in plenty of circumstances.

You own a Jeep. Did you know that?
I do know that. That's why I wrote "Jeep". And you even quoted my post, where I wrote "Jeep". Did you know that?

That's the thing about forums... you gotta read the posts, they don't talk to you.

Reading is Fun-Da-Mental.

I also own a 2019 Ranger, which is, well, directly related to this thread. Weird, right?
