Trucks been sitting for 3 years changed oil and fuel filter, added sea foam to the fuel. It drives fine the started idling at around 2000 so I ran some sea foam threw the vaccume lines and it dropped back down to 800.

I visually looked at the vaccume lines they seemed to be fine, should I be looking into this more? Or is it the 3 year old fuel that's doing it?

Thanks

If new fuel dont work you could clean the throttle body and IAC. Get a new gasket for the TB and pull it apart clean the butterfly/venturi and the idle air control put it back together with a new gasket and go from there. A new PCV and complete tuneup wouldnt hurt either.

Alright in start looking for an 86-87 tb anyway

Also I unplugged the iac when it's idling high and it doesn't change anything didn't try to unplug it when it's running normal
