Whether it is the O2 or not, they should be changed every 50k miles on a OBD-I vehicle anyway.

Did you reset your ecu after installing the sensor?
I just replaced my o2 sensor 94 2.3 and didn't reset the ECU. I never saw any instructions that said that was a requirement. what will a reset accomplish?

I solved all these problems and dont need this thread anymore! should it be taken down or deleted or somthing? not sure what to do! this thread didnt solve any problems I had and I started another!

It should reset any codes you might have had, comp will relearn fuel curve based on new 02 readings:icon_bounceblue:
