My TFI went bad about a month ago, and my truck runs well enough to be mobile with the SPOUT disconnected, so I've been driving it like that ever since.
I'm just curious how badly I'm damaging my motor by doing so, I'm guessing significantly, because when I step on it it sounds like the exhaust is stuffed with cotton, and feels like I'm standing on the brake.
At this point I'm just seeing how long the motor takes to die so I'll be motivated enough to put the 4.0 in.
Last oil change, 2 weeks ago, I didn't happen have any 10W30 kicking around, so it got used ATF instead.
(BTW, just in case my idiocy offends anyone, the motor's blown anyways, almost no compression in one cylinder, low in all the rest, raw gas in the oil, burns a half litre of antifreeze per hour, both front and rear seals have a steady stream of oil seeping out when running, 0 oil pressure at idle and only spikes to 20 when I red-line it.)
