I'm going to Moab, UT for spring break and I was wondering what I should bring for spare parts? I already want to get a spare drive shaft but what else should I bring or keep in the truck?

I have most of that stuff already, I think I will just go with a rear shaft for now, it will be enough to get me off of the trail and back home, unless you can talk me into getting a front too... I have auto locking hubs so if I break those then I will get some decent manual locking ones, as for spare hubs Im going to take my chances and not buy those... I need a wider assortment of fluids but I think I should be good to go... What price would you pay for a spare rear drive shaft from a salvage yard?

You might also want to consider a set of ratchet straps, and NOT the crappy ones with the pull type buckle. get the real deal. You would be AMAZED at what you can use them for... holding up a tranny crossmember that manged to loose the bolts off of one side, strappng a trcak bar up to the engine mount, numerous uses.

As long as you have a good spotter you shouldn't need a driveshaft... that said... I have trashed a couple. I have a spare at my house.

x2 on what BlackBII said. Spare hubs especially. I've grenaded both hubs in a 20 minute span before and it would suck to have to walk for help or get towed just cuz you don't have spare parts.
