I'm heading up to Evans Creek tomorrow (Sunday 5-31-09), more less to mess around. We will be leaving my house in Enumclaw somewhere around 9:30, so if anybody wants to meet us, we can work that out, maybe meet at the Burnett store or something.
I will have my Ranger and my cousin will be on his dirtbike, and my friend may come with his Ranger, but I'm not sure, he'll be getting back to me shortly.
My thoughts were to run the Upper and Lower 311 and then just cruise around the roads in the snow.
Last weekend both 311's were snow free except for the very top of the Upper 311, after it comes out on the lookout. From that look out on, there was snow and we turned around because of it. But I walked right up both 311's, and I seriously only spun a tire once maybe twice.
The roads were fairly snowy though from the campground to the entry parking lot, and I had to winch a couple times, but I think A LOT of snow will have melted off with the past week, because of sunny and warm weather.
EDIT: As to who goes, I would prefer tires other than stocker in case we come to snow... Even with my 33's last weekend, all the paint got scraped off the bottom of my front diff from dragging in the snow for a while.
But I WILL HAVE my winch, strap, high lift, shovel and pick ax, etc. , in case things go to hell.
So, 9:30, Evans Creek, Let me know!
