that is what I use as well. I'm sure Ford prob made it some oddball size to try to deter people from doing work themselves

Yeah, its a T50. make sure you heat them up with some map gas or propane first....they'll come out like butter

I'm guessing you mean seat belt bolts- they are T50. I had to cut the head off mine. Haven't finished getting them out yet. Good luck.

got three of the four passenger seat bolts out did just as I feared on the last one even tried heating it with MAPP gas before attempting and I have been soaking it with acetone and ATF for a week I guess I need to cut the seat out then drill out the bolt and tap it.

i was just talking to a mechanic at work about this. he told me about a "thicker" T50 that had broader edges for heavier duty torx bolts.

i'll have to interrogate the snap-on guy next time he stops in...

Found Em "Torx Plus"

"Torx Plus tools do not work well in standard TORX Head Screws"
Standard Torx Tools will work in Torx Plus Screws but with a poor fit.
Wiha Recommends using only TORX Plus Tools in Torx Plus Fasteners
the Specific one needed is the TP50
