Anybody got suggestions for replacement shocks for me? I was going to get the edlebrock shocks cause they where going for around $30 a pop, but I can't find them anymore! I was looking on jegs and found some skyjackers for under $40 each which doesn't sound like to bad of a deal. Anybody got suggestions? I do mostly street driving all my offroading is around the farm, but thats very little usually use my ole man's truck lol. So what do you guys recommend?

I got the Skyjackers. But I put them it when I lifted it, so I can't really say if there is an advantage or not.

I think mine are leaking oil already. They've been in two years.

I would say you get what you pay for. I currently have KYB MonoMax's up front and love them. They give me great control without being harsh. The GR 2's are a step down in stiffness if you are concerned about that.

I started the thread on the Edlebrocks and love mine. It's a shame more RVB'ers couldn't take advantage of the deal.

I can tell you from experience if you want a good shock for the money and are goin "stock ish" try Monroe. Good price, great warranty and plentiful (Advance Auto (where I work), Pep Boys and O Reilly's have them plus others I'm sure.

I got Skyjacker 8000s up front and 7000s in the rear, and i love them. Go to Skyjackers Scrath and Dent if your on a budget. 4 perfectly working shocks for $100 cant beat that. My 2 cents
