Supposedly, with the right quick-disconnect tool and enough attempts, the QD fitting at the slave cylinder will come right out (don't forget to give it a bit of a tug...it won't remove itself). The QD collar was chewed to hades in mine and wouldn't work.

To get around this, I disconnected the line at the slave. It works but you'll have to completely re-bleed. I strongly recommend disconnecting at the slave.

You'll never get the slave off with the line attached. Since you have access to the slave, you can punch out the pin which holds the fitting (where the clutch hose connects) and pull the entire fitting out the side of the bellhousing. That's how I did mine.

Quick dis-connect

I just went through this. My release collar was all boogered up. I kept tapping it in with a small screwdriver, and it finally pulled apart. Make sure you tap it in all around the fitting.
