My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I've had a few over the years.

My first "real" rc was a mini-t, which I still have.. although most everything's been replaced with carbon/aluminum and probably won't get driven once it's all done lol. Have an o.g rc18t, Had a 2.5 tmaxx and an emaxx, scx10, sc10gt, regular sc10, a 2wd and 4wd slash.. little ecx crawler..

Fun stuff. Easy to wreck the wallet lol

I owned a Revo 2.5 when they first hit the market. Blew the engine rather quickly so naturally I upgraded everything I could inside/outside the engine to billet. I had it spinning an additional 10,000 rpm by the time I was done. The wallet took a huge hit. Especially after all of the billet suspension parts, etc..

I still have to stop myself from buying an E-Revo rather frequently. There's not a more revolutionary suspension design out there in the RC world. I jumped a single story house at 75mph with my Revo and broke ZERO parts. The things are tough as nails. (my buddy said it wouldn't make it, and dared me, so..)

Lately I've been talking myself out of buying this: https://www.towerhobbies.com/product/17-infraction-6s-blx-v2-all-road-truck-rtr/ARA7615V2.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwzruGBhBAEiwAUqMR8KNAR8yN0qkJSSeKScWwY9f0zaqqdFxl3gR3kGvAvUdsUDfq9YyDbRoCQlsQAvD_BwE

I built this from scratch out of automotive brake line, using Tamiya Clodbuster axles. I regret ever selling it.

@Bird76Mojo that custom is sick! And the wallet hurt already with just initial purchase, but a few friends and now my brother has one. They have been on me to get 1 for awhile. I'll consider it a fathers day present from my pup-pup, since I have no kiddos. Sounds legit? We will see the woman says when it shows up :temper:????

overall this thing is a BEAST. i drove it hard, just scratched the body! first upgrades will be better tires, probably 2.2s, with some brass weights.

Do those fancy RC cars have really tiny ICE engines or battery powered?

Both, this one is electric. Most ICE engines are nitromethane 2 strokes that turn stupid high rpms. But batteries and what not have come so far thats the way to go in my opinion.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!

I love my nitro cars and trucks, but my brushless electrics are just as fast and WAY less maintenance.
