Long story short: my rear window seal has given up the ghost. The glass in there now is an aftermarket slider, so if it's like my dad's 6th gen F-series, I would assume I use the stationary seal for it (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Going off that, I've been able to find the plain stationary seal no problem--but I've got the chrome "reveal" trim and can't find it for the life of me. Anyone got a lead on it? Junkyards 'round here never have them, so that's a no-go.

If it's not reproduced--I see the '80-86 F-Series seal is ~30 inches longer; would chopping it down be a viable option (albeit a last resort)?

The joys of having limited aftermarket support...

I'd assume the '86 in his sig...

I have a couple seals for regular cab slider windows sitting around if you want to pay shipping you can have one...

Neither have trim, one is like a solid window seal and the other sticks out the back... I know there's several different kinds...

Unfortunate to hear. Do you think chopping a seal for a Bullnose truck could work?

All rear windows for regular cabs from '83 through '97 are interchangeable (extended cab windows are all the same and interchangeable as well and that's the window they switched to in all cabs from '98 through '11), unfortunately there's like 4 different versions for sliders I think so just changing the seal can be difficult. I'm not sure you'll find just a seal that will fit your window.

Not quite as easy as finding rear windows for OBS Fords where all cabs used the same rear window from '80 through '96/7 but I think the seals had different options there too, I don't remember, I need to get a spare for my '97, it's been a while and don't want to be without again (I've only broken 2 in 10 years, same with the Ranger...)
