Rear Axle swap compartibility?

Hi everyome. Being long time.
A friend is offering me to buy the entire differential/azle of off a Chevvy Tahoe hybrid, that has being sitting in his yard for some time now.
The rear differential of axle of the Tahoe is not electric though.
I am lioking at one day, replacing the entirety of mine, because it is making terrible grinding noise at the rear.
Is it possible to swap in the entire axle system with frw modufications to it?

Anything is possible...

It would take a bunch of modifications...

Spring perches
Shock mounts
Driveshaft
Brake lines/park brake cables
Sway bar mounts

The first thing to do is figure out if the gear ratio works for you. Also measure the overall width... that Tahoe axle is going to be substantially wider.

I wouldn't bother with it, that axle would be a GM 8.5 10 bolt which is junk, and has a different lug patter as well. The Ford 8.8 is a far better axle.
