I was there all day sunday. Total Chaos told us to come check it out so we could hang out in their pit and get some of their new posters that I helped them with. Had a good time and I'm pretty pumped to race out there. Closest race to Fresno by far.

How much room do you have in there leg room wise? I have been collecting parts to build my truck which is EXACTLY the same as yours... was... just mine is black.

Im 6'3" and dont want to build a truck im not going to fit in. So id just find a beat up extended cab and build that.

Thanks

I'm 6'0 with long legs and it was pretty tight with the stock dash, even with an external B-pillar. But without the dash and with the seats mounted as low and far back as possible I have plenty of room.

I'm 6'3" and have enough room in my race truck with external b-pillars. I never did have a dash so can't comment.

My registration came in the mail today so I drove it around for the first time in almost 2 years. Kinda fun but not very comfortable.

May start driving it around more. Sure gets a lot of attention, just really don't want to get pulled over in it lol.

Added a K&N intake, coupled with the BBK throttle body it seems to have a lil more pep.

Thanks for doing that, looks much better than mine and actually more of what I was going for. Not sure if I am going to do it yet though. Going to plate elswhere and see if it works.

On a nother note, I am considering doing a full wrap on the truck soon. Anybody have any suggestions for a design?

Personally I like the plain and simple message, such as you already have.

have you solive mounted the cab or is it still on the rubber mounts? thats gonna make a big difference to keep things from cracking. a solid cage and a rubber mounted cab means alot of cracking over time, which sucks.

as for a design, id do something with the name you have on the hood and doors. everyone knows your truck when they see that. Maybe something like the sillouette of your truck jumping over a quarter moon. Lets see...

use something like this as a base and build on it.

you could fade out to another color if you wanted and have the jump on the doors and hood. You could go pretty cool with it. maybe run some sort if design that fades to a solid color on the back 1/4 half of the truck.

or better yet, with a little photoshop, get your truck jummping off a dune towards a large moon int the background.

Moon:

desert:

get a pic from the side of your truck jumping, and shade the sides out to fade to black, or another color to match your wrap. then write "to the moon" underneath the picture. mash it all together and slap it on the side of your door. I think that would be a sick picture. If you want ill try to work on it. let me know. Id need a pic of your truck just about sideways, to make it look like its coming off that dune. give it all a orange dusk desert glow... ya know.

:)
