I suppose one could lower the truck even more. Isn't the Foed Spash that way? But mine is an Edge. Lower it an inch and it still looks like an Edge. It's just my taste but the flair side bed looks better higher.

I intended on getting some pics of where I’m at, maybe tomorrow I can. The lower arm if I max the ball joint, I’m not afraid to cut and weld. The shock isn’t really a problem either, I can find something shorter. The upper arm is the problem because it appears to be cast something or other. I though about heating and bending but I’m worried that could weaken the cast metal. Thought about slotting some steel tube and weld it over the heat and bend, but I’m still a little skeptical. If I had my garage up, I’d see if I could Fab up some upper arms. If there’s a stock option that would resolve my problem, that would be sweet. I’m not sure if there is though, I think the Splash was coil sprung

Yes, I'm pretty sure that the Splash was coil sprung.

I'm no expert, but heating and bending is somewhat chancey with cast iron, especially with suspension parts which can be subject to stress.

Unfortuneately my Ranger will have to wait now. A buddy just bought a '98 Chevy dually. We've been working on it mostly. It's got a lot of potential but also a long way to go.

Please keep us posted though. It's important.

I’m suspecting the upper arm is cast steel rather than cast iron, which would respond better to a heat and bend. Maybe someone like @bobbywalter would have some input on potentially modifying the upper control arms?

This May be a Long Shot, but all of the Nissan D21's (HardBody) were torsion bar suspensions. there was tons of aftermarket support for , BOTH lifting & lowering these trucks. Maybe the uppers can be modded to fit, or at least get some ideas/input from them.

yes, I do like that one.
That is a Nissan D21 ( Hardbody ) with a very desirable paint scheem.
and front fenders.
and fender flares.
and rims.
and light bar.
and brush guard.
@dvdswan
EDIT: upon futher inpection, it looks like the front clip has been swapped out with a Pathfinder front. IIRC, those headlights were Pathy specific. ( bottom inside corner is rounded off )
