Help please. I've got a 94 4.0 in an 87 Bronco ll The temp gauge runs between the n&o which I think is a little high. I've tried a new temp sender Motorcraft both for the 87 and 94 and no changes. The new Motorcraft thermostat is operating because when I start it in the am it warms up till it gets to the n then drops when the stat opens a couple times till the temp stabilizes about 192-195 checked with an infrared gun at thermostat housing. The motor isn't overheating but it's just a little concerning to my wife whom I've worked real hard at asking to look at the gauges when driving. At times the fuel gauge reads high so I'm guessing the IVR is some of the issue. I haven't been able to find a new one C9AZ10804A anywhere local. I've been told they're discontinued but haven't called Green Sales yet to see if they have one. Kinda scared to do that. Any ideas about putting a resistor in line to lower the ohms to the gauge? Am I doomed to accept it as it is which I can do or is there some tricks you all have found? Thanks in advance to any thoughts or fixes that have worked.

If you are seriously worried about the temp, place in a mechanical gauge and disconnect the dash one.
