hey guys

trying to install a after market oil pressure gauge in my truck..the plastic hose it comes with is too short can i cut the plastic line in the middle and use a rubber line to exten it a little bit

I think a trip to NAPA, would be a better solution......
they use a stiffer plastic so it won't stretch at high pressure and throw off your reading. That's what we did on boost gauges anyways.... But I saw Richard wrap his boost gauge.... and blow the side out of a plastic line once as well.

i mean its not that much pressure with oil pressure??
