Recently purchased some Outpost AT tires through my local Discount Tire, taking them up to Mt. Baker both today and the day prior. I found them to perform predictably on what little snow I could find (the ski area had some decent snowfall last week but they've cleared it off the roads now), minor slippage in the muddy sections of the surrounding service roads (most turned out to be washed out, so bummer on that). They remind me of the Open Country AT, only slightly noisier than the Michelin LTX, they have enough siping to stay nice on the streets too...
Anyone else take the chance on these? Its the first time I've seen Nokian release something of the sort. But between being $144 a tire, and the winter rating... It just checked too many boxes. I would have preferred a 245/75r16, but the 265/70r16 is all they had in stock
