My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Hi! Welcome to TRS.

Take good care of it. Don’t let the engine overheat. 2.9’s are sensitive to that. If it has never been off-road, you may have a little work getting it to shift the transfer case. There are some electrical contacts in the gearbox of the shift motor. Those contacts get dirty or corroded if not cycled regularly. So, if it works, make sure you cycle it at least monthly. If it doesn’t work, we’ll get you through the process of fixing it. Do not drive on dry hard surfaces in 4wd. That can break things.

We love pictures of people’s trucks.
