new rockford subs

hey i was just wondering if anyone has tryed the newer rockford subs to see if there any better then the old ones. im thinking about trying a new style 15" p1 because there only $69 at sonicelectronix but any info on them would help ...thanks also would a memphis 15 or ma audio 15" be alright ? i just want something diffrent then alpine or pioneer but i still might get a type R ..thanks

have you narrowed it down to those 3? or are you open to more options? are you set on getting a 15" sub? whats your budget?

well im not set on anything but i do have to make up my mind very quick and i eather want a 12 or 15 i no 15s arnt as acurate but its more for showing off lol

RE i think is to expensive for me but i havnt looked into it much but audiopipe seems afordable ...i have another question though would a 15" P2 give me more bass then a 12" type R i no the R is 500rms and the P2 is only 250rms but i was just wondering if the size would give it alot more bass. thanks for the help im just trying to decide what amp/sub combo im going to buy so its here before christmas

ok i think iv narowed it down to eather a 12" type R or a 15" P2 i want to go ported eather way and i think i might buy a kenwood amp i no they wont be the best amps but there decent for the price and after suband box im running out of $$$

if you no of any other affordable amps im open to others

its $100 shipped. if you call them, see if they can give you a package deal on a sub and box. i know for sure if you buy a sub and amp you save 15%(for example, a nine.2x amp and the 13kv.2 sub would be $318.75. a savings of $56.25.), but it couldnt hurt to call and ask about a sub and box.

this setup should give you the low end that your looking for. you should be able to find a local shop to build you a box for about the same price but you wont have to pay shipping. if you post your budget, i can help find better deals

well i aleady have the wirring and a box isnt a problem but my budget for a sub/amp combo is about $250 i like that element desighn except i havnt herd much about it or seen any videos of it thats why im not sure about getting it.

as far as their products go, i can only give my opinion of the nine.4 amp that i have. the a/b channels feed my components 100w of clean power. channels c/d are unloaded. i plan to either get a ed 9kv.2 or a cdt ef-80. they have great customer support. one big thing that really sold me is the 5 year warranty.

you can also search their forums to see others setups using the 13kv.2

alright well tonight im going to order the sub and amp, but im still not sure what sub to get i m going with eather
TYPE R 12"
rockford P2 15"
or kicker CVR 15"

what sub do i pick???? i really need help here guys iv looked at everyones suggestions and all and i dont no what to do, the rockford P2 is cheaper but iv herd mixed things about rockford and the type R is a really popular sub but i dont no if it will give the low bass that i want and the kicker is about same price as the type R and i dont no what to do !!!
