Long time motorcycle and European car fan. (mostly BMW & Mercedes)
Have had domestic cars before

now have a 94 Ranger 2.3 2x4 manual

I got a good deal on it because the owner couldn't figure out the ICM was bad.

Though I thought is was pretty crazy seeing a 4 banger with 8 spark plugs.
Even has working AC and a kick ass stereo

It wont run right with the EGR connected I suspect a clogged up EGR tube.

UPDATE:

Sold the 2.3 2wd because it was just too underpowered for my taste

I got lucky and found a deal on another 94
Big plus is that it has the 15" rims not 14"
Is a super or extended cab
a 4x4
less that 100k miles
and has the 4.0 V6 :headbang:

Only issue the hood and cab top I'll have to get repainted
since it was baked by the sun

Welcome! Great upgrade. I had a 2.5L that was great for in town but due to bad gearing, worthless on the road. Love the ext cab and love that the later ones come with the four doors.

Welcome...

Yes, that was a nice upgrade...the 2.3 is too underpowered for most people...but I like it because in order to get speeding tickets I have to be going down hill with a tail wind...although I almost got one the other day because I wasn't paying attention...

Hope you like the new new Ranger...:icon_thumby:
