Hi from Nevada.

My son Ryan got me hooked on this site. I just bought a BII today. We posted about two weeks ago with some photos from the craigslist add. Will have more coming soon. I'm looking at making this my daily drive. Needs some work to get into running order(heads). Has a fairly clean interior and pretty decent body.

Thanks, you've got a sweet looking BII.

Things on my list so far:

Heads or engine swap (so it will run)
New plastic gear for the driver side window motor. I hear the motor clicking but it's not grabbing the window
Looking for door panels that will fit and XLT. I want to change the interior to black. The maroon interior has to go.
Fender flairs
New paint, want to keep it red but change the bottom color to black with black fender flairs added in.

Haven't checked out the gearing to see what my new BII has. Want to put in a rear locker.

The other owners installed a steering stabilizer and an anti theft system. Not sure if there are any other up grades.

you wouldn't be disappointed by a 4.0 swap.. just saying. lol
maroon interior, agreed.... its gotta go!
do the bottom in bedliner, the rock guard area and fender flares. i wouldn't do bushwacker flares or anything--- expensive and would just end up ripped off.

and i wouldn't spend money on the stock axles either... maybe weld the 7.5 till if and when it breaks, then do an 8.8 swap. but i wouldn't BUY a locker for the 7.5. also i personally wouldn't pay to regear the stock axles, 8.8/d35 it.. before you spend much on the stock...
