:dunno: ive seen worse.

rangers can be kind of a pain to balance on a two-post rack for newbies. if you dont pull far enough forward to get the back pads on the spring hangers, you get...well, that :icon_thumby:

Those were my thoughts too. I had a scare while I was changing the transmission fluid in my ranger using my Uncle’s two post lift. While I was scraping the old pan gasket loose (cork gasket), I managed to rock the truck, causing the lift to rock. The first thoughts that ran through my head were "I love my truck, but don't let it be the end of me.":D

Yep and the front pads on the radius arm pivots.. On a reg cab anyway.

Back when I worked a shop this n3wb put a late 90s Ex on a rack and another guy was getting ready to work on it... He doubled back to his toolbox to grab a tool when it slipped and shifted so it was resting on one of the plastic sideboards.

The tech was freaking livid and needless to say, the tard didn't work there much longer.

the pads on that hoist should flip up.

the fronts look like there on the trans cross member, first mistake, the rears are on who knows what, all that needed to be done was to flip the rear pads up and line them up with the frame rails, not on the spring hangers, the fronts could have been left flat but should have been just before the trans cross member, this way will result in a level ranger on a two post lift.

yeah i set cars/trucks on hoists everyday.

so do i, its on the trans crossmember and the rear is on the frame rail, the rails go up in the back, and there screw pads, so theres only about 3 inches of adjustment, ill just use the other lift or allingnmentrack from now on, much easier

even the flip-up pads usually arent tall enough to keep a standard cab ranger from "dragging ass" on a 2 post lift. the best way is to have the rear pads on the spring hangers.

we have two lifts at my shop that have adapters that can be slid over the smaller lift up part of the arm and are basically extensions. on these lifts they are not needed on rangers but rather useful on full size trucks.the screw type pads as indicated in the picture are somewhat difficult to adjust for any pickup truck.

oh did i mention that i set hoists everyday.

anyway here's daniels truck on the lift at my shop, very level, but hard to tell/
