Saturday we mostly just worked on trucks.

I worked on this one most of the day. We got two trucks hauled just before dark. We then had a cook out, a few drinks, then crashed for the night.
Sunday morning we prepped the bog. I was the first truck and easily walked through. My friend Mark was next.

He almost made it when he broke an axle.
Mike was next but, was a little lacking in the tire department

poor fella was mud from the shoulders down. the drivers seat of his truck is caked with mud.
I have more but, I'm tired and it's late.

Part II

When my wife and kids got there I decided to take my youngest boy through the bog with me.

When I hit the first hole, he flipped up and out of his seat belt! I had my tent wrapped up on the floor in front of him so he landed face first into it. In the pic above I stopped on the island to let him out. Mikes girlfriend made her way through the swamp to rescue him. As soon as they were back on hard ground I eased up to the main hole, As soon as i felt the tires start dropping I jumped into the throttle. As soon as the front tires hit the mud I heard a horrible "crunch". I broke the left front axle joint. The first part that I have ever broke in this truck.

At some point in time we took pics of all the trucks, this is most of them.

My wife drove the kids around the trails in the Aerostar. She wants it lifted now. HA HA! They all had a good time.
More later.

That is the EB 44. My '87 still has the d-28 that hasn't failed yet. I don't take the '87 in the mud though. I didn't put the '86 in the mud this time either even though I got a lot of flack over it.

The rest of the trucks. The full size in the pic is the only other truck to go all the way through the mud. It is not a really deep hole but, it is restricted to 35's or smaller. It took him about four tries.

Afterwards we power washed the mud off so I could see the damage.

I never even got the boggers put on the front. The bog owner wanted me to run with the old tires first.
sunday evening we played in the sand.
The '86 "black frog"

The '87 SC

still more later.

We then built this:

This is a jump for my offroad truck.

Monday morning, The property owner and me went back to work on the jump. He said "the only way we will know if it is right is if you jump it" So I did. I hit it way to fast and jumped way past the second jump. I blew the right front tire and bent a wheel again. He asked me if I wanted it changed and I said "NO, I'll just have to hit it slower." In the future I'll have a lot more jumping pics.

Is that an 8"? Did you break something or just put in more lift?
That was actually a little to much weekend for me.
I'm in a tough truck contest this coming weekend. I've got cast aluminum wheels on my truck now.
