When I drive my 1986 Bronco II around, the gas pedal and everything moves back and forth. You can feel things moving. It has some rust damage. What do you think? I might have to sell it if I can't figure out the problem. It's supposed to be my daily driver.

The weird thing is that the panels are straight. Usually things would be mis aligned.

My credo
Love Thy Neighbor
My original cab had issues with the firewall...the clutch went right through on it so that I couldn't change gears...and the pedal got really low...but that was a forward shift...

If you've got side to side shift, as mine also had, it was the mounts in the middle of the cab...especially the one on the passenger side, that needed to be fixed...

On my new cab, I had a guy weld a big washer into the mount on the frame and then everything was good...

But I'd have to say it would require a good look to see where the movement is coming from...

Check your body mounts and stuff, just do general troubleshooting. It's almost impossible to tell you what's wrong without seeing the vehicle in person.
